THE COMMUNITY OF MADRID HAS GRANTED APRIM A GRANT FOR CARRYING OUT INDUSTRY 4.0 PROJECTS.

On May 10, 2021, the Ministry of Economy, Employment and Competitiveness of the Community of Madrid granted APRIM, Alta Precisión Industrial Mecánica, the grant for an amount of 158,297.39 euros, to help carry out an implementation project of an integral line of high production of machined parts with automatic product control.

This grant is 50% co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), within the framework of the Madrid Community Operational Program for the 2014-2020 period.

WHAT IS INDUSTRY 4.0.?

Industry 4.0 holds the promise of a new revolution that combines advanced production and operations techniques with smart technologies that will be integrated into organizations, people and assets.

This revolution is marked by the appearance of new technologies such as robotics, analytics, artificial intelligence, cognitive technologies, nanotechnology and the Internet of Things (IoT), among others. Organizations must identify the technologies that best meet their needs in order to invest in them. If companies do not understand the changes and opportunities that Industry 4.0 brings, they run the risk of losing market share.
